Society Members

A society member is permitted to view, download and print Intercom, Technical Communication, or other STC-copyrighted materials from the STC website an unlimited number of times for personal use. However, permission must be obtained to post, photocopy, reprint, or republish this material for advertising or promotional purposes, to create new collective works for resale, to redistribute to servers or lists, or to reuse any copyrighted component of a work in other works.

Nonmembers

Membership in STC is required to access Intercom and Technical Communication articles and other STC-copyrighted materials from the STC website for personal use. At any time, permission must be obtained to post, photocopy, reprint, or republish this material for advertising or promotional purposes, to create new collective works for resale, to redistribute to servers or lists, or to reuse any copyrighted component of a work in other works.

Obtaining Permissions

STC holds the copyright to all articles printed in Intercom in the November 2005 issue and before; in Technical Communication in the February 2006 issue and before; and in the STC annual conference Proceedings for 2005 and before. To obtain reprint permissions, please visit www.copyright.com.

Copyrights for articles from Intercom issues published after November 1, 2005, Technical Communication issues published after February 2006, and Proceedings after 2005 are held by the authors of the articles. To obtain reprint permissions, please contact the authors using the information at the end of each article.
