Get Ready for 2021 STC Summit Conference & Expo

STC is excited to offer a virtual conference again this year to meet the ongoing educational needs of technical communication professionals across multiple time zones and to protect the wellbeing of attendees.

This year, attendees can expect a program that includes:

  • Over a dozen Pre-Conference Workshops on Saturday and Sunday, 5-6 June
  • Over 80 Education Sessions Monday through Wednesday, 7-9 June

The virtual Summit will consist of live and simulive sessions, available at times that are friendly for technical communicators the world over. By offering a virtual event, STC is able to expand the reach of the Summit to participants outside of North America and provide learning options for all participants who are unable to travel.

We are committed to offering a robust conference experience, including education sessions, preconference workshops, keynotes, vendor showcases, networking opportunities, and entertainment and social events. The goal of the STC Summit is to provide a broad range of topics for technical communicators—its depth and breadth reflecting the diversity of our profession, members, and attendees. Summit attendees will learn about new techniques, tools, and trends, as well as grow their skills and competencies.

A Must-Attend Event

Attendees will have a rich program of opportunities for learning, networking, and engagement that includes:

  • Preconference workshops and education sessions in the following areas: Content Design and Delivery; Tools and Technologies; Management, Leadership, and Career Development. The program will include presentations, tutorials, and workshops at several experience levels.
  • The Expo Hall, where numerous vendors demonstrate products, services, tools, and technology in the world of technical communication.
  • The Honors Event, where the best and brightest in the industry are honored by the Society.
  • Additional social networking and entertainment events.
  • Eight CEUs toward CPTC currency (applies only to those who are certified and cannot be counted retroactively).
