“The discounted CVP membership will enable more joining/participation by Oracle writers in general,” explained Mari Wozny of Oracle when asked about the program. “My particular department will benefit most from the STC reading materials and webinars.”
Individual members of CA’s CVP membership agreed, with Kathy Snow McKinstry pointing to STC education, specifically webinars, as the biggest benefit, stating that “I share the information from these with my team members” so the entire organization benefits.
And while the minimum number of employees required for a CVP membership is five, the more members you join with, the more you save! Membership dues for five to nine members are just $185, a $40 savings over the regular Classic membership rate of $225. Ten or more members? Save $50! Twenty-five or more? It’s now $60 off per member. And if you join with 51 members or more, dues are just $155 each. (Chapters, SIGs, and other à la carte items can always be added.)
