STC’s Technical Communication Summit 2016 will be held 15–18 May in Anaheim, California. Anaheim is situated in the heart of sunny Southern California and is renowned as a top meeting destination. STC has secured an Expo Hall and education meeting space all on one level of the newly renovated Anaheim Marriott, making it the ideal choice for the Summit. While we are sure you will be excited about all that the Summit has to offer, we hope you are just as excited about visiting Anaheim as STC is.
Anaheim and surrounding Orange County offer a plethora of activities to suit every visitor’s whim. We encourage you to explore all that Anaheim has to offer and consider extending your Summit stay to experience Southern California at its finest. Here is a quick peek at just a few of the things you can do in Anaheim:
- Orange County offers access to 42 miles of gorgeous California coastline and dozens of lively beach towns.
- Anaheim is renowned for its world class theme parks, several of which are within walking distance from the Anaheim Marriott.
- Sports enthusiasts take note: Anaheim is home to MLB’s Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, 2002 World Series Champions, and the NHL’s Anaheim Ducks, winner of the 2007 Stanley Cup.
- The Anaheim GardenWalk, just steps from the Anaheim Marriott, is an outdoor shopping and dining mall.
