The Distinguished Community Service Awards recognize the hard work and commitment of STC’s community leaders. The three awards — the Distinguished Chapter Service Award, Distinguished SIG Service Award, and Distinguished Service Award for Students — recognize an individual’s exemplary effort, energy, and dedication to their community and its activities. This is the highest level of recognition that a member can receive for service to their community.
STC has a number of RSS feeds for its publications. With the revamp of the STC website, the RSS feed addresses have been updated. If your community website has links to these feeds, you’ll need to update them.

Distinguished local entries are automatically sent on to the ISA. Excellence awards may be submitted at the local competition manager’s discretion.

They will each have their work published in Intercom magazine as well as win a cash prize. The two winners will be highlighted during the Honors Reception. The Student Infographic Committee consisted of Lisa Meloncon (Chair), Phylise Banner, Eva Brumberger, and William Horton.
