Cover illustrations for the August and November 2020 issues of Technical Communication
The Society for Technical Communication (STC) is soliciting proposals for the editorship of Technical Communication for a three-year, renewable commitment. The first issue for the new editor will be January 2021, but the appointed editor should be available to work with the current editor in 2020.
The topic of Transmedia, Participatory Culture, and Digital Creation for the August 2019 special issue of Technical Communication made for a challenging cover competition. From the array of impressive and intriguing illustrations submitted, the judges picked two for recognition.
Last week, the STC membership department held a contest to give away a free print subscription to either Intercom or Technical Communication to two lucky individuals.
STC’s publication awards recognize outstanding content from STC’s Technical Communication journal and Intercom magazine and are awarded each year at the Technical Communication Summit & Expo honors event. This year’s awards were presented on 7 May at the 2019 Summit in Denver, Colorado.
