The STC Certification Commission presently awards a certification for Technical Communicators and is in the process of creating a new certification for Technical Writers. We need your help in defining the appropriate content for this new credential. Please do so by participating in our formal Job/Task Analysis study of Technical Writers.
With your input, this study will determine the knowledge and abilities currently required to perform the job of a Technical Writer. These results will ensure that the content of the new certification assessment is a fair, current, and appropriate measure of applicants for certification.
Here is what we need for you to do:
