Check out one of STC’s brand new online courses, Technical Editing Foundations presented by Li-At Rathbun! Attendees will understand what technical editors are and why they’re needed, the “hard skills” and “soft skills” that technical editors should possess, how to identify passive voice and bloated sentences and how to fix them, and also what style guides are and how they use them as well as using other resources. Technical editors who are new to the field and students who are considering entering the field are encouraged to register for this course.
