STC's 2011 election is fast approaching! The election will run from 9 March through 30 March, closing at 4:00 PM EDT (GMT-4) that day. Who will be the next Vice President? Treasurer? Who will join the Board of Directors? Who will join the Nominating Committee? It's up to the members.
Every person running for office has submitted a biography and answered a set of questions. But what do you want to know from the candidates? The STC election page has a handy “Ask the Candidate” button for you to, well, ask candidates questions! Pretty self-explanatory, huh?
A few details, from the election site:
Questions are asked to all candidates of a particular position.
Only current STC members are allowed to ask questions of the candidates. Because of this, your question will not be immediately seen on the site. It will appear on the site once your member status has been validated.
Please note that while your question will be sent to all candidates for that position, candidates are not required to answer all questions.
Remember that you must renew your membership by 28 February to be eligible to vote in this election. Be a part of the 2011 election process and let your voice be heard. Read about the candidates and ask your questions!
