Erin Wiedemer

Erin has worked as a medical software technical writer for Document Storage Systems, Inc. for 10 years. During this time, she documented software ranging from Chemotherapy Manager to VA Community Living Center (CLC) resident assessment software. Though Erin has no formal medical training, she has documented over 30 different software programs using her curiosity and SME interview skills to learn the workflows and functions of each application. As the senior technical writer on her team, she spearheaded the adherence to HIPAA and Section 508 accessibility requirements in DSS’ software documentation. She and her co-worker, Danielle Matthews, have given several webinars and workshops on the subject of documentation privacy and accessibility at STC and other venues.
