Jennifer Sano-Franchini

Assistant Professor of Professional and Technical Writing, Virginia Tech

Jennifer Sano-Franchini is an Assistant Professor in Virginia Tech’s Department of English, where she teaches in the undergraduate program in Professional and Technical Writing and PhD Program in Rhetoric and Writing. She has a PhD in Rhetoric and Writing from Michigan State University. Her research and teaching interests are in the cultural politics of technology design, institutional rhetoric, and Asian American rhetoric. She has seven years of previous industry experience as a document designer and professional writer.
