Steve Darian

Steven Darian’s Ph.D. is in applied linguistics from NYU. Among other topics, he has taught Business Communication & Technical Writing in 8-9 countries around the world, and is a professor emeritus at Rutgers University. He has also worked in industry, including a stint in Saudi Arabia, for Raytheon Corp. & a reporter for Sales Mgmnt & Marketing Magazine. He is currently Editorial Director for a small publishing house In NY.

He has also banged out a dozen books, in a wide range of fields—both scholarly studies & textbook; and tradebooks; both fiction & nonfiction; including Understanding the Language of Science (U. of Texas Press).
