Often, suppliers and employees meet with others to define a technical communication project. We listen as the project is explained. We ask questions. We take notes. We return to our office and assess how best to proceed. We recall the meeting. We do some research. As technical communicators, we might think through our proposed solution to a need by creating a project proposal. This becomes a starting point for further communication, greater clarification, an agreement, a means to tracking our progress, and a vehicle for proceeding smoothly and successfully, thus winning us more work, time and again.

This webinar will cover what’s needed in a project proposal to:

  • Set the right tone
  • Convey a clear understanding of the project
  • Win the work
  • Track the work
  • Complete the project successfully
  • Become the preferred supplier or employee on the next project
