Carolyn Kelley Klinger – Associate Fellow
For continuing leadership, innovation, and unfailing enthusiasm assisting the advancement of technical communication as a profession and for encouraging participation in the Washington, DC Chapter and the Society.
Carolyn Kelley Klinger is an independent consultant working as a technical writer for several clients, including the National Cancer Institute, for whom she documents Web-based bioinformatics software. She is her team’s lead for accessibility and Section 508 compliance and presents workshops on this topic to STC chapters and other groups. She is a two-time past president of the STC Washington, DC Chapter and continues to plan its events and mentor its leaders. Carolyn received her BA in international studies and German from the University of North Carolina and her MA in geography from the University of Maryland at College Park.
